a confident voice

this is a good first EP. why? because it makes me want to hear more. i attended her March 7th show in NYC and actually got a signed copy of Radian at the release party. Ana is a beautiful, amazing and very talented girl. she has talent, she has drive, she has confidence. three very important things for a young musician trying to make it in the US. her confidence really comes out in her singing! i love it! she has such a strong voice, but it's different and intriguing at the same time. seeing her perform live was a treat! she was awesome on stage and did a few great/fun cover songs, too. after hearing her originals again on the polished EP, i'm glad i purchased it :) this is a good start and she will certainly grow as a song-writer. for the record, my favorite track is "Try" - at least buy that one!

Lyrics are sincere and I can feel the emotion in your vocal projection.. compositions are great-- ---I'm guessing you worked with different engineers or producers or maybe even recorded tracks in different studios, but the final product for "questions in my mind" is different than the rest of the tracks and raises "questions in my mind" about the poeple who mastered it.. It's not bad by a long shot, I love it, i just think it's to airy and EQ'ed vocals are way to clean.. just my opinion though... But I'm a nobody in the business just a fan, and a fellow musician.. main thing is that your happy with it.. I'm looking forward to you first LP and will definitely support it... Keep it up!!
