The Corporation delivers another DOPE album......JAH!!!

These guys cannot do wrong in my eyes and I honestly think they are in a class unto themselves when it comes to Downtempo and Acid Ragga sounds. PRESS THE BUY BUTTON

Go Heavy on the Dub!

The Thievery Corp goes heavy on the dub on this one, gang, and they know how to do it right. "Sound the Alarm" announces this is a more political, focused, intense Thievery disc. In the spirit of the late Washington, DC punk scene that was heavily political, the Thievery Corp does good by this DC-area Native and makes poignant points while also providing danceable beats. Tap into "Hare Krisna" if you're looking for a single to snag, or dive deeper and also pick up "33 Degrees" and "The Numbers Game" - this track with DC's Chuck Brown which makes for such an awesome choice of collaboration anyone hip on the DC music scene should appreciate it. For those who can handle the full heavy-style dub with the more-intellectual political overtones (check out "Vampires" or "The Forgotten People"), you'll get the whole album if you don't have it already. However, all of these tacks are solid so there is plenty to choose from if you just want to pull a few tasty ones - my recommendations already stated. Also, if you get the chance, I'll HIGHLY recommend catching this act live as they put on a great, unpretentious show, even in a big venue.

Great Remixes and Videos

Loved the original and now loving the Deluxe. Great new remixes that I have heard before, and I have been searching for a while. Also, the videos being new life to the tracks. Thanks Thievery, keep it up, excited in seeing whats going on in 2009
