Great Stuff!
I discovered Dave's music a while back in 2009 at the UNC Jazz festival in Greeley, CO. I was thrilled to hear his "In the Belly of the Sun" live. Dave's original jazz is special. It's unique and it's melodies are memorable (which to me is what music is all about). He brings a new energy and sound to the American Big Band Jazz genre something that we haven't really heard before. I was also thrilled to discover that several of these pieces were inspired by superheroes! That's great. Thanks Dave, keep it up!

Stimulating and Intelligent Music!
This is a fantastic ensemble encompassing many talented players. Dave has a great ability to write structured ensemble jazz compositions, while letting the rhythm section continuously move the motion forward of each piece. His work with the group John Henry was honed his writing skills, and although reminiscent of that group, this is a unique take on this genre further propelling his writing and arranging skills. Very enjoyable!
