the best band in French trad
La Chavannee is the best band in the French trad music scene, featuring several of the major players who rediscovered and revised the genre, including Frederic Paris and Patrick Bouffard. Unlike most La Chavannee recordings, which are a mixture of traditional and composed material, this one is just composed material by the members of the band, and includes some of the classics of French Trad, including Adele Blanc Sec, Callipyge, and others. It is so good to finally have this avaialble to the public again. Still more La Chavannee classic recordings are out of print, tho, and need to be revived.
