What a treat!

I hadn't heard of Christine Kane till I recently stumbled across one of her songs by accident, The Customers, on XM's only folk channel. I was driving my car and was so struck by the song, I was afraid I'd forget her name by the time I could get home to write it down. Fortunately, I remembered, and then downloaded this album, which I've been enjoying a lot. Her smart, intricate lyrics convey a lot of depth, yet the music, her voice and performance makes it very accessible. I want to hear more!

My sister loves this!

My sister loves the song She Don't Like Roses. Christine Kane is so gifted, even when we saw her perform. These songs are so great. She should be more famous!

Words to Live By

Christine Kane is quite gifted. It is a true honor that she has chosen this path to share her gift with her devoted audience. She can make you laugh, make you think, and inspire you to reevaluate what is truly important in life. The characters in these songs are struggling with feelings of isolation, yearning to break out of the routine, and stumbling through a world that Christine must believe is aching to be fully enjoyed and celebrated. More than once I've listened to this album when I find myself at a crossroads in life. You can't go wrong when you're trying to live your life like a character in a Christine Kane song. Check out 'All the Relatives,' 'The Customers,' and 'The Way You Say Goodbye.'
