Repetition
After I purchased this album, I realized it was not what I wanted. That is not to say that it is not good. It is simply consistent sounds of rain, at one pressure and volume. I can imagine this working wonders as background noise, by which to fall asleep, if such consistant sound is what one desires. If one is looking for a more dynamic rain shower, with relative, ambient "natural" sounds, volume fluctuation and the occasional thunder... this is not the album to purchase. I give it three stars for being what it says it is, but lacking the natural dynamism that I find most sweet about the rain...
Great for falling sleep
I love this CD! I've always tried to find a remedy that would put me to sleep, and this is IT! It's great to relax and unwind and I HIGHLY recommend this for any person of ANY age to try this... it worked for me, and I'm sure it's worked for a lot of people. ~Julia~
Excellent Sleep Album
I like a bit of variety when I can't sleep so a trickling of rain played quietly from my ipod sets me in a good sleep. I dont think it needs thunder... that would wake me up!! Lots of nice CDs out there for more dramatic weather. So a variety as well as white noise and new age CDs, I put this in my sleeping playlist.
