Customer Reviews
Perfect Music for the Movie
If you haven't seen Raising Arizona, take a look. It's a splendid crime comedy with strong performances by everybody, not just stars Nic Cage and Holly Hunter. The music of Carter Burwell takes the movie up a notch, the way John Barry's music for James Bond movies and for Body Heat elevated the movie. That said, I'm not going to buy the entire album just to get Dream of the Future. I don't believe it's the composer, it's probably whover owns the album. They don't get it about iTunes yet. I want to buy what I want to buy, not 17 songs just to get the 1 song I want. Anyway, it's great music. Carter also did great work for Hudsucker Proxy, with Paul Newman and Tim Robbins, another multi-star Coen Brothers movie.
