I'll say it
This is crap. For those of us in TEXAS who have listened to Cory for many years, this CD shows how far he has strayed. Now recording for APEX NASHVILLE, he sounds just as bad as his buddy, Pat Green. And before you get too excited, these songs are re-recordings of previous releases, and by the way, not as good as the original recordings. Cory, I know you have had some problems with dope, but putting out this kind of crap is not helping your comeback. For real fans of TEXAS country, skip this one, and get the new CD from Walt Wilkins & The Mystiqueros.

Read the album credits. Both Pat and REK stay true to their bands and they appear on their albums. So sick of hearing people complain about Texas bands going Nashville... Sorry Texas isn't the be all of the Music industry. Their are bigger and better things to go after than just touring the state of Texas. This album is good. No argument that it isn't his greatest. But Cory is growing up musically from the fratboy songs that I grew up on in middle/highschool. Let Cory make the songs he wants to make. Rock on Brother.
