Ra not Ra
If you're thinking that this is the same as Ra (the band that brought you "Duality"), then you are mistaken. This is an indipendent guy. Just wanted to through up a warning, so no one get's confused.
Acquired Taste
Okay, first off-- the rest of these reviewers need to stop writing poor critiques because it's not Ra the rock band... no, this is in fact Raoul Sinier, a french guy who does his own electronic stuff. Sure, his material is reaaaaaally weird, and at first I didn't quite get it; but after a closer inspection one can get lost in his music. I'm a fan.
Ra not Ra
last time i checked, Apple displayed the genre of every song on their store, so I don't understand how people can confuse Ra (the "electronica" producer) with Ra (the rock band). anyway this album is really solid, beat headz will love this, i know i do. think of it as phat hip-hop beats with grimey industrial electronica and french wine aged 20 years all blended in this album.
