Thump
The best way to describe this would be one word:thump. You just gotta blare this album with the bass up. You can feel it in your stomach. No gimmicks. If you like quality hip hop at all, you will like this album. GET IT!
Crazy Dope
This is hip hop in its highest form. Samiyam has put together an endlessly creative beat CD that will have your head nodding from start to finish. A must-have for all fans of instrumental hip hop.
Hot damn!
This is one of the dopest releases of the year. Every track sounds like it's made by an ADHD 10-year old, and this is the reason any self-respecting hip-hop heads should cop the album straight from Samiyam himself.

Ann Arbor, Michigan’s Sam Baker, aka Samiyam, is an underground producer who makes instrumental hip-hop beats. Stylistically cut from the same cloth as J Dilla but with a tendency to incorporate synthesizers as well as samples, his debut Rap Beats, Vol. 1 was self-released in 2008 as a limited CD-R, and had unique artwork for each copy, collaged together from magazine cutouts.
