Real Book Stories
My goodness! I found these guys quite by accident on iTunes (searching for recordings from the Real Book). The fluidity of their playing is so very pleasant to listen to. If you are a player, you know how hard this is to accomplish. Listening to their work is like floating down a lazy river in your favorite boat. Let these great musicians soothe your soul with some truly masterful and artistic interpretations of great songs.
Real Book Stories
Such excellence and cool passion on an album of all jazz standards - 'Real Book' tunes. What a rarity in contemporary jazz recordings. Bill Evans' spirit and masterful fluidity is not forgotten. Dig the feel on "Peace"; can't imagine anyone delivering another "All The Things". All in a straight ahead guitar trio format...wow!
