Different, but very solid
For the Dillon Fence/Hobex faithful, this album may be a stretch for ya, but it is definitely worth the listen/purchase.

Greg Humphreys was the lead singer and principal songwriter for the North Carolina jangle pop band Dillon Fence, which disbanded in 1995. He would go on to found Hobex, a group that displayed Humphreys' burgeoning interest in soul artists such as Al Green, Curtis Mayfield, and Stevie Wonder. Humphreys originally met future Dillon Fence bandmate Chris Goode at their Winston-Salem high school in the early '80s, and the two formed a covers band.
