Music to share
Louis shows his musicianship well on this album. Each of the songs is new and unique showing off Louis' gift. While you will enjoy listening to all these songs by yourself, these are best shared. The quality of the recordings is top notch. The writing and performance all live up to the same standard. Excellent work - probably his best to date.

This Is An Album Of Love Songs
“Crying Out Loud” hints at an emotional schism, which is a departure from the common theme of the album, not in keeping with the happily-ever-after sentiment of the beginning. It feels a little more genuine than the saccharine (but not sappy). Immediately preceding that track, “All By Myself” seems to be a declaration of self-satisfaction, almost as if to say, after serenading the listener with personal ballads for five tracks, he wants us to know he’ll do just fine without us.
The band has heart but lacks soul. They do a good job of creeping their way through quasi-reggae jams like “I Found You” and “I Want To Live”, but that’s about as adventurous as they get, rhythmically. They do a good job of supporting Landon, who repays them in turn by not occupying the entire spotlight.
