Album Review
Ten Years After were always rooted in the blues, and the highlights of Recorded Live, such as "Good Morning Little Schoolgirl" and "Slow Blues in C," show they hadn't changed. Although the band had become predictable, this set is competent enough.

by Stony StevensonWhat they don't tell you is that these are the choice cuts from a Euro tour & it was recorded using the Rolling Stones' mobile sound truck with 16 track recording (was it 32?... sounds like 32). One of the best recorded live albums EVER. They did edit it here & on the CD (LP still the best). PEOPLE, there is a reason that the album cover has a picture of the engineering booth....MR LEE is promising you GREAT SOUND! Early in their careers TYA was regarded as one of the great live acts and they were very disappointed their sound did not translate to recording efforts.....enter Woodstock & this flawless diamond in a platium setting. I can only hope to live long enough to hear the rest of the tapes be made available.

by nobody herei used to listen to these guys when i was a kid, who would have thought i'd be listening to them 30 plus years later. alvin lee, i dont think we need to say anything else.
