One of the best concept albums of all time.
Seriously, listening to this album, all you can say is "Whoa"
The concept of even making an "album" is barely even thought of these days, let alone making a concept album.
Red Beretta is heart wrenching storytelling at it's best in an original, and magical hip-hop form. It tells the tale of a mad vigilante type character as he descends into madness, starting with the twisted tale of his mother and how the insanity trickles down.
The more I listen to this album, the more I comprehend it and the more I love it.
It's not for the faint of heart, that's for sure. It's raw, dark and very emotional.
The beats, lyrics, concept, everything, is created by Ecid. And it falls nothing short of amazing.

One listen through Red Beretta won't do the album justice. It's the third and fourth times when you really start to realize how amazing this album really is. Ecid delivers raw, riveting lyrics that will send chills down your spine once comprehended. An instant pick up for any hip hop head.
