Customer Reviews

seminal post-punk, industrial happy, raw, ethereal and catchy

In the late 80s, new order and RLYL continued what joy division and killing joke started. Buy this album for totally unique guitarwork, crafted catchy songs, raw and aggressive at times, happy at others. I'm grateful to KCMU (now KEXP) in seattle, wa for playing RLYL occasionally in the 80s and 90s. But I had to buy the album to hear "Feel a piece" and "Hold Yourself Down", both classics. The only bad thing about this album is it doesn't include "Head All Fire", it was only on Paint your Wagon album. For industrial or goth, this album is a must-have. No industrialist worth their combat boots would go without this album
