Elegance & Grace
Carrie Newcomer brings to life a CD of rare elegance and grace. Inspired by a short story Newcomer scribed about a waitress who works a late night diner, "Regulars and Refugees" tells the stories of the characters that frequent their favorite roadside stop. Each song works like a chapter in a character study. With her perceptive eye, Newcomer turns an ordinary diner into a chapel of communion. She captures the beauty of difference in everyday living. The music blends acoustic guitar songwriting with pop and rock influences. Absolutely excellent! (Personal favorites: "Be True," "Alice and Roy," and "Before the Fall.")

She has a beautiful voice, and the songs acctualy have meaning to them. The story they ell is amazing!!!!! My Dad got me into it, and I am addicted
