Of all the CDs designed to accompany the healing energy of Reiki, Reiki: Hands of Light, by Deuter, is one of the best, if not the best. That is no surprise, because Deuter always ascends to the top in whatever style he chooses. His releases are always diverse, with many different applications. This CD is perfect for use in the healing arts. It is also outstanding ambient and deep space music. The atmospheres and soundscapes evoke images of exploration and discovery. It is like a perpetual sunrise — always new. This disc is in on an elite level and rates with the best work of Constance Demby, Jonathan Goldman, Anugama, and Jorge Alfano.

What a beautiful CD; gentle and light. A perfect CD to play during treatments and healing sessions. I can't wait to play it in the clinic for my patients!

Reiki - Hands of light

This is a great mood setter for reiki, which is my use for it. It would also work well with massage, meditation or any other type of energy work. In pacing a reiki session, the bell melds into the music and is not distracting to the practitioner or the person receiving treatment. I have also used it in my office to provide a relaxing atmosphere during stressful days. I find I am able to catch a 5 minute meditative state which does wonders for the stress I feel at work. 5 stars for this beautiful piece of musical art.

Illumination of the Heart is PERFECTION

I so want to make this review about me. How much I love these tracks. How much I want to share this work with others. Simply put, no matter how bad a day I've had, Illumination of the Heart has the right chords to pop my system right back into balance. Like many artists in the contemporary instrumental realm, Deuter mixes acoustic and electronic instruments, ethnic influences, and sounds from nature — only he's been doing it since the early '70s. Born in the German village of Falkenhagen, Deuter learned flute and taught himself to play guitar but was discouraged from pursuing music as a career.
