Good for lounging and studying
At first I thought this album would be too tranced out, but I was pleasantly surprised by the sophisticated compositions by Cyril Morin. If you don't download the entire album, at least listen to Morin's songs. I use this album to help me relax while studying, but it is lively enough to keep you awake and interested in your subject. The album has a world music quality too--Pema's Theme incorporates the Chinese er hu while using violins as backup--a stellar contemporary combo. There are a few songs that I would not have put on the compilation, although I can see the global appeal of having many different types of artists. ***.5 3-4 stars.
