Sleepy Time
I live in Southern California (where it really doesn't rain - much) and suffer from nighttime anxiety. After purchasing this album (loading my iPod and tucking it onto my iHome clock), I've slept with less stress. The depth of sound on this recording is amazing - drips of water on a sidewalk, drumming on the roof, an occasional rumble of thunder, and, if you listen very closely, even a dog barking in the distance. The arrangement of microphones and mixing of sound creates a more realistic ambience.

Ya, I'm glad I read the reviews first because I found this at AmazonMP3 for .89 cents instead of 9.99. Do yourself a favor and get it there.
Absolutely Perfect Ambient Rain
I listened to all the rain recordings I could find trying to find just the right one to relax to. This one is it...just a gentle rain that isn't too loud or splashy. In my opinion, $9.99 is kind of expensive for ambient sound, but this one is worth it, I could relax to it all day and sleep to it all night!
