Customer Reviews

A fine remix album of material not needed to be worked with.

This offers some great remixes. The songs are mostly the same but have some slight tweaking and feature some great quotes and soundbites from a wide variety of horror and exploitation films. Hearing some of the quotes along with this crunching guitar riffs is sick. Dorsia and Say Goodnight To Your Soul are my faves here.

Great Great Great

Sure it's remixes of old songs but the spice added due to the excerpts from horror films give it a whole new sound. I usually hate remixes but this one is definitely worth it. If you are a true John 5 fan and enjoy Zombie, Manson, etc, you will like what the horror bits add to this album

The Perfect Mix of 2 opposite Genres

About a month and a half ago my girlfriend started getting me into Electronica/Dance/Trance/House and i ALWAYS listen to metal and I've been getting into the new style of music my girlfriend was introducing me to, and well, i was waiting for a long time and i finally found this album, and well, I always viewed Electronica and the other 3 genre's I mention as previous as the 2 most opposite genres because usually you won't find many people that will listen to either metal or electronica/dance and listen to the other, and well John 5 is a genious with this album, having both the metal energy he gives to metal and the natural energy that electroinica has, and its the perfect blend, and the remixes in this album arn't like standard remixes heard where it makes the song longer and kinda makes the song not sound like the original at all, but this has all the parts of the original song with a lot of electronica feel thrown into it, and it such a perfect mix, it may seem like metal and electronica shouldn't go together, but this is the one album i've heard that pulls it off perfectly, i HIGHLY reccommend this cd to people that listen to metal, electronica, dance, trance, house, pop, and basically any genre, it just shows off the genious that John 5 is composed of, buy this album its well worth every penny!!!
