Legowelt is the alias of Danny Wolfers, a native of the Hague who produces tracks inspired by Italo-disco, early Chicago house, disco, new wave, and – more than anything else – ‘80s electro. The bulk of Wolfers' output has appeared on the Netherlands' Bunker label, including 12" releases such as Pimpshifter (1999) and Wirtschaftswunder (2000). He also released a full album on Goldcoast in 1998 called Reports from the Backstreet Pimp. By the end of 2002, he racked up over half a dozen compilation...
