Classic Surf Rock from ye olde Brisbane town

What can one possibly say who has had the privilege to see these guys live in concert. Good old fashioned surf rock which just made you want to dance & believe the world was a good place (at least for that evening). I stumbled across The Riptides during the reunion phase of their career in the late 80’s & early 90’s when they regularly performed during university orientation weeks. They were never a great band, but they knew how to entertain a crowd & entertain they did. Buy the album, hit play, have a drink & hark back to a more innocent & fun filled time when bands played live, alcohol was the predominant party drug & you dancing all night because the band made you feel like doing so. My favourite song 'Venus', often the concert finale, always captured the crowd. Thanks for the memories guys.
