Customer Reviews

Good for live

This is a good live album

One Word: Wow!

I was reviewing my Eric Clapton biography when I came along the Yardbirds. A band Eric Clapton started with that basically made him the greatest free agent among music. I wasn't expecting much in the beginning, but I was extremely wrong. Some of the songs in this album express the rythm genious of the Yardbirds band. Route 66 is one of those songs you just blast in the car sterio and over, under, sideays, down is one of the songs that you can tell helped future artists develop some of the beats in their songs. Listen to the songs individually before you buy them, but the whole album is most likely going to please you anyway.

Worth it just for "Route 66"

There's probably a better cover of Route 66 somewhere. I just haven't heard it.
