Good Work
Vic, as good as a songwriter as he is, actually had me disappointed with this CD. I love his music, his songwriting, and thus these songs, but only a select few did well with a remix. "Far From Home" and "Guilty Beauty Love" being the only two that really worked. The others were beautiful songs, and the remix ruined them to an extent for me. There are some songs that should never be remixed, and "Je N'ai Pas Des Mots" was one of them. Brothers might have been okay with just a simple drum machine, but the unnecessary quotes and lines from Fullmetal Alchemist left me feeling somewhat awkward listening to the song, and unsatisfied. Vic is a talented singer, songwriter, and actor who doesn't need drum machines and dance beats to amaze me; he needs to stick with just a piano and his voice and he'll be golden.
Simply Amazing!
I've been waiting for remixes of Vic Mignogna's songs for a while, and I'm NOT dissapointed. All the songs are remixed well and the songs are beautiful. This CD is worth every penny and more.
