CAN'T STOP REWINDING
With the newest CD "REWIND" lead vocalist Eric Vincent taps into your soul with truth and vulnerability with lyrics in songs like 12 STEPS, GOODBYE, ONE THING and CHASING while the band also gets you on your feet with tracks like HOW MUCH and WOMEN DEM WIND.
The band wouldn’t be Jah Works without giving you even more diversity. The true roots sound on AYO AYO is sure to make ya wanna…! While STICKS AND STONES makes me wanna play Guitar Hero.
The Lyrical styling of Front Man Roc delivers a flow with awesome melodic tones accompanied on a couple of tracks by the bands Bassist Mike Hamilton who shocked even the devoted with a flow that ask when he’s gonna put his Axe down for a full tune and “pick up the Microphone”?
Giving the Vocalist their ability to do what they do are Drummer John Pang, Keyboardist Brian Gorman and Guitarist Kevin Gorman reminding any singer that without the foundation of a great band you can’t lay this kinda groove down. Props to the whole band for the newest creation.
Rewind and Replay
Love the vibe of this album ... makes me wanna rewind and replay. Each song is distinct with rhythm and lyrics. Chasing is one my favorites. Jah Works is definitely rocking it here among Miami natives.
They are 4 Real
First let me say I am a MIDNITE fan hands down, I was at First Ave, Minneapolis waiting to see Rebelution and during the band set change they played this album. I asked the DJ three times for tha name of the album because every song I listened to was just fresh with deep lyrics and tight. I play this album alongside my MIDNITE favorites.
