Ramones Ramones Ramones
I'm not sure why this album was so short. Is the EP's purpose to give a quick glimpse of the Ramones? Maybe!?! All I know is that at the end of the last song, I was left wanting more Ramones. However, any Ramones compilation, no matter how big or small, has its own essence and atmosphere and is definitely worth a listen.

The true inventors of punk, The Ramones, released two Rhino Hi-Five EP's. The second one contains some more enjoyable, probably more famous songs by them. "Blitzkreig Bop" is famous for the repeating chant at the beginning: "Hey! Ho! Let's Go! Hey! Ho! Let's Go!". It is from their first album, and it is probably their best song. "Sheena Is A Punk Rocker" is from Leave Home, and is a pretty good song. One of their best. "Beat On The Brat" is a pretty good song from their first album. "Rockaway Beach" and "Do You Wanna Dance" are from Rocket to Russia. I suppose that this EP is better and it's probably a better place to start listening to the Ramones if you've never heard them before. Good stuff. Very good.
