Album Review
It's hard to imagine two albums as different as the pair that Jordan Rudess released during a two-year span — 2002's 4NYC and 2004's Rhythm of Time. While the former is comprised of solo, tranquil compositions, the latter is a full-on modern-day prog metal assault, with a gaggle of special guests contributing to the rock fury (Joe Satriani, Steve Morse, Vinnie Moore, Greg Howe, Rod Morgenstein, Kip Winger, etc.). And while the sounds of Rhythm of Time would provide a perfect soundtrack for a busy city street, Rudess supposedly recorded his parts in seclusion from the outside world over a two-week span. Before playing such over the top tunes as "Time Crunch," "Screaming Head," and "What Four," be sure to strap on your seat belt. There are few keyboardists in rock as technically gifted on their instruments as Dream Theater's Jordan Rudess, and Rhythm of Time proves it once and for all.

A Master Work from the Keyboard Wizard
Jordan combines passion, extrordinary technique, and advanced use of technology to create a brilliant work. High enery and powerful grooves set the foundation for some amazing lead chops. He dares to go where other keyboardist won't: to the heart of the progressive soul; no new age dribble here. Rhythm of Time is a great ride! It is a sonic adventure punctuated with unexpected twists and turns. While Jordan maintains his unique style and character, he explores many ethnic flavors in his compositions. If you love sheer artistry, great grooves, very cool time signature manipulation, blistering solos and intricate arranging, you MUST get Rhythm of Time. Jordan consistently delivers the goods. You won't be disappointed!

Keyboard God
Jordan rudess is the greatest keyboardest in the universe! (probably y Universal mind was so great lol.) but his vocal songs r just ok. Now imagine if he added a continuum fingerboard songs. Now that would make a god like song!!!!!
