Naked the Soul
Alma D's sophomore album is a serious improvement to their debut album, Middleway. They infuse more instruments, showcase the incredible talents of the band and ultimately do what they do best, bring together a community. Searching their musical souls with a showcase of different music styles is best exemplified East Blew West where the support from Tara King is the money shot. I hope that their community, sound and capacity continue to grow as this album is surely to catch and hold the attention of many! Congratulations and much love to Chris, Paul, Tony & Joe.
Incredible music from (and for) awesome people!
Their first album (Middleway) way incredible...I didn't think they could follow that up with something superior. I was wrong. This album is amazing. Rest assured that you're money gets you two things: 1) an awesome array of music that you'll listen to and love forever, and; 2) you will be supporting the most talented artists and loving people you could ever care to meet. You can't go wrong. Great work AD!
A Path to Greatness
Having followed Alma Desnuda since the very beginning, I can say with confidence that their growth has been both rapid and exponential. All you need to do is compare tracks from their EP to Middleway to Riders and you'll see the transformation in musical maturity yourself. Throughout this evolution, though, they have stayed true to their "naked soul" roots. If you enjoyed their earlier tracks, Riders will blow your mind.
In addition to simply being great music, their songs have a transcendent quality that appeals to people of all cultures and all ages; they hold a healing, joyful energy. With the goal to bring introspection, awareness, and ultimately peace to the listener, and by matching it with their actions, Alma Desnuda is etching a path toward greatness that will grow in strength one naked soul at a time.
I plan to be present for the whole ride. I hope to see you there too!
