George Would Be Proud
George McCorkle recently passed and I want you to know he would be thrilled with your rendition of Fire on the Mountain. When I interviewed him in the mid 90s I asked him about this song (a hit for his outfit, the Marshall Tucker Band) and he said when he wrote it he envisioned an "Appalachian" feel to it and you boys certainly pulled it off. He was a great guy, excellent songwriter and musician, and you honor him every time you play this song. Thanks!

I've grown up (15 now) listening to rock, country, bluegrass, folk, and all that good music. I've gotta say the cover of Fire On The Mountain is really great! Keep the bluegrass rolling from Schaumburg, Illinois!
