Purists may not agree, but I love this album.

I got to see the band live in Pittsburgh right when RISE came out and was really blown away. It is definately more of a metal album, but it still kicks much a**. The title cut gets you pumped with the quickness, Coming In Numbers is one of the coolest tunes EVER, and tunes like Free & Miss Freedom smack with political platitudes. Add on two AWESOME reggae tunes in Love Is The Answer & Yea Jah and the haunting ballad Without You, and you have a great album. Israel may not be HR, but his voice can go from Babylon to Zion in the blink of an eye.

Israel gave a most meaningful edge. his essence cannot be denied..

No H.R. on this one, but definately one to pick up. It's true BadBrains intensity. A solid album!! I like Zey!!
