STELLAR DEBUT!!
I can't stop playing this CD in my car since I got it a few weeks ago!! It's simply awesome! Radio stations should sit up and take notice and immediately start playing these songs because they are HITS waiting to happen! The true singer/songwriter of the 1970's like Cat Stevens and Carole King is back, in that Luke wrote, performed and produced every song and shows a broad versatility from very catchy pop/rock songs like Back In Love, Pressure and Real Thang to heartfelt, melancholy ballads To Cry Tonight and Waiting On the Rain to even a country influenced song, Surreal. The true mark of a singing Star is that when you hear their voice in the first five seconds of a song, you know who it is. So many of what I've been hearing on the radio these days is indistinguishable one from the next. If you like John Mayer, you'll also love Luke in that his music is similar in some ways, but still different in many others. Luke has a very original and unique voice and sound and his vocals are very soulful and filled with different colors of emotion in every phrase. I am very hooked on his music and I can't recommend more highly the CD! Please do yourself a favor and BUY IT now and soon you'll be humming these songs in your head all day long.
