wow! she is amazing...
I will say it yet again, i love this womans music! She has so much power and strength behind her voice. She is simply amazing. Her lyrics, vocals, rythm... everything is out standing about Sara. She is a true role model. She deserves every bit of fame she will get!
Pretty darned good
Most everyone who's reviewed this song is either too much of an idiot to realize that Sara did not write this song, or too stuck up and pretentious about his or her music to appreciate a good cover. Come on now! Yes, Joni Mitchell wrote this song and performed it first, and it's a beautiful song and Joni is a wonderful artist. Yes, Sara is very popular and talented and a great musician (and I discovered her before the commercial, when she was very first released on iTunes). Put the two together, and you get one great cover. Sara doesn't try to sound like Joni here (if anything, she sounds like Sarah McLachlan's cover of the song). Sara hardly sounds herself here either - it's like the song transported her somewhere else entirely. It is pretty wonderful. And for you silly teenagers writing that this song is bad or a downer... you should probably think about your comments before publishing them. There's all kinds of good music - a song doesn't have to be happy or upbeat to be great.
Once Again... WONDERFUL╝
Never once has Sara Bareilles not amazed me. With her amazing vocal talents and songs with lyrics that she can touch, there's nothing better. If you like this song and haven't already bough Little Voice, I highly reccomend it! Where I may not say this is her best, I still believe SHE is the best, so if you're amazed with her voice but not the song choice check out LITTLE VOICE!
