Welcome Back Steve!
As a huge Journey fan, I appreciate this man immensley as it was his charisma and talents that made them viable once more...That being said, this is a good song, that is sung in a lower key and very soulful...I am looking forward to a complete album and hope the songwriting is worthy of so fine a voice and human being!!

Steve Augeri is an all around nice guy, maybe I shouldn't put that in this review.. after all he has a reputation as a ROCKSTAR to up-hold. But seriously, not only does he put tons of time into his material but he puts his heart and soul as well. Riverside is just a small sample of Steve's musical identity and is step one in bringing his music to the world. Riverside is a truthful, heartfelt, emotional rollercoaster that will have you singing a long in no-time. Easy to follow lyrics mixed with a great sound mix make this track a must pick up. Get ready to go back in time, to simpler, stronger and meaningful days.. down by the riverside.
