Amazing
I love this band! The music, vocals, lyrics are all amazing. Popular music today could learn something from Rocco and The Burden. Even my 3 year old niece could feel the emotion in their music saying, "This song hurts my feelings." (NOTE: She did NOT say she didn't like the music.) Rocco's voice reminds me of Muse's lead singer (Matthew Bellamy) and the infamous Freddie Mercury (from Queen). Show your support for real music and buy their album! P.S. Oddly enough we grew up in the same town (Lake Elsinore, CA) and we both now live in Long Beach, CA.
Great live sampler from an VH1 You Oughta Know Artist
The release of this EP will further the visibility of one of the breakout artists of 2006. The Long Beach, California based band was brought into the national spotlight after their appearance in the documentary "I Trust you to Kill Me" chronicling their first European tour last year with actor and Ironworks records label co-owner Kiefer Sutherland acting as road manager. The song of the same name appears here. The real gem is the hauntingly beautiful "How Many Times." A song that opens many a RDB show. Their first single "Colorful" and "The Gift" - two of the stronger tracks from their debut CD are included here as well as "Mystified". A great pick up for new and existing Rocco fans.
