In accordance of The Chordettes...
I'd really like for The Chordettes to get better known! I would strongly recommend both of their songs on this album, especially "Lollipop." It's catchy and bouncy; something that will easily lift you out of a bad mood. Another great song by The Chordettes, if you like what you hear, is "Mr. Sandman."
Pink Shoe Laces
This is a re-make - not the original. If you are looking for the one you heard on the radio as a kid, and which came out as a single, you want the version sung by Dodie Stevens. The Chordettes did not do the original "Lollipop" either. Apparently they are a cover band -- good enough for your children maybe, but not the real deal.
