Nice Milky Meld

Not the best PJ album, but not bad by any means. The beats, basslines, and guitar licks are all solid and groovy, with good production quality. The only negative thing I would have to say about this album is that Soulman's lyrics can be a little depressing at times, which isn't necessarily a good fit with the uplifting party attitude of the band in general. (NOTE: Soulman has somewhat depressing lyrics in songs in other albums too, but there seems to be more of them in this album than others.)

This is the first PJ album where Milky plays a significant vocal part, and is a bit of a shift in the evolution of the PJ style and flavor. If you're used to the PJ albums that came before this one (like I was), this album might have to grow on you before you can fully appreciate it. If you buy one song from this album, I recommend "Same Ol' Song".
