If the rest of the new album is like this I may never listen to anything else the rest of my life.
Around The Fur but with more PUNCH
I might be the only one that thought Satruday Night Wrist was one of their best albums after Around The Fur. It was a great balance of soft/melodic Deftons and hard/riffy Deftones.
Having said that, Deftones came out of left field and went back to the Around the Fur vibe with Rocket Skates but dropping a ton more energy to every note and lyric.
Truly excited about Diamond Eyes and I hope there's some melodic tracks still thrown in for good measure. They're one of the only bands that can do both exceptionally well and would love to continue to hear both with every new album!
