Do NOT miss this album!!
Many times when one buys a new disc, there's one or two songs you really love. Or, you listen to the disc alot and the album grows on you. Once in a great while, you find a disc where there is no such thing as a bad song. This is, by far, one of those albums. Every song on here could be a hit. I've asked many different people which they think is the best song on the album or which would be their first single. Everyone has a different answer. That's how good this cd is. The lyrics are stellar, the music is top notch. This disc is easily as good as any other produced in 2008. Like One Republic? Coldplay? The Fray? Then you won't be disappointed with Rocketships. Someone needs to pick this band up and get their music out there for everyone to enjoy!
Unbelievable!
This is an extremely good album. I like alot of music and rarely listen to one band too much. However, since I got Elliot's Rocketships, I find myself constantly going back to listen to it over and over. Every day I discover that the song playing in my head is an Elliot tune and it's usually different than the last one I was humming. I just can't pick a favorite! This is one of those albums that would climb to the top of the charts fast and furiously if word spread to the masses. These guys better get their stuff together because, if Rocketships ever gets the wide exposure it deserves, they will have to pack their backs quick and hit the road! Can't wait for them to come to my town!!
The best $9.99 you'll EVER spend....
This band is filled with amazing, individual talented artists coming together to produce a stellar album. It's a combination of unique vocals and gifted musicians. Don't let their Christian base fool you. That's a benefit, but their music is for everyone, focusing more on socially conscious concerns and everyday real life issues. Literally, not one song on the album that isn't good. Instead of each song sounding like the next like some musicians, each of the songs on the album is unique. If you like coldplay, One Republic and U2, check out Elliot. Worth every penny, id even spend an extra one and make it an even ten.
