ROLLING THUNDER Original Soundtrack

ROLLING THUNDER Original Soundtrack

A classic arcade game of the old-school "run and gun" variety, Rolling Thunder first hit the scene in 1986, inhaling your hard-earned quarters in exchange for a few short minutes of 8-bit violence. In the game, you are Interpol's special agent Albatross, on an action-packed rescue mission to recover your female colleague Leila who is being held hostage by masked, strangely dressed and heavily armed terrorists representing the crime cult Geldra. The minimalist, O.G. MIDI soundtrack will bring back many memories of rocking the mall after school, back in the day when people still played video games outside of their own homes, and we all scoffed at the idea of 50 cents for a game. Strangely, with the rise of interest in antiquated digital technology (i.e. bands using souped-up Gameboys), the music on here sounds oddly modern. "Round Start," "Main BGM," and "Name Entry" are the jams.
