My all time favorite album
This is the first full album I've felt was worthy of buying in a long time--and I have not been dissapointed. The album is an acoustic masterpiece, with beautiful melodies, soothing vocals, and meaningful lyrics. Andy's lyrics hit home for me like no other artist's lyrics ever have. Truly Christian messages and truths are mixed in without all the "praise Jesus" type stuff that makes me sick to my stomach. Every song on the album is a must have.
Great Songwriting
Andy Gullahorn is really an amazing songwriter. From the "Screwtape Letters" imagery of "If I Were," all the way to the reassuring words of "Never Let Me Down," this album is wonderful. Especially check out "Burning Bushes," "Broken Places," and "Give Me Grace."
Room to Breathe
Andy is one of the best songwriters I have ever heard in the Christian genre. "Holy Flakes" is a must hear! "If I Were" is an eye opener too. Buy his music, you won't be disappointed.
