What happened?
Something happened between the EP and this album that changed their sound almost entirely. Way too poppy; not to mention the unnecessarily pop-ified version of "Generation" clogging up 1 of only 10 song spots. Most of the songs just lack depth. "Captivating Me" is cliche to the point of being comical, "Right or Not" tries too hard to be on the radio, and "Timebomb" is just lyrically unimpressive. Mindy's voice is still there, though. "Versus the Mirror" and "Waiting" are really the only tracks that I feel maintained the awesome vibe the EP brought (with the exception of "Versus the Mirror"'s unnecessary cheesy electronic intro). Too much room to run for their first album, hoping to see these guys find a sound on their next go.
