What Can't She Do?... Besides Get A Break?!
I haven't liked country music since I was 5yrs-old so hearing that one of my favorite voices was heading in that direction, it was hard to get excited about it. That said, ya can't deny that her voice was tailor-made for the earthy, bluesy heartbreak she's belting out on Rose Tattoo. Tiffany has proven her versatility time and again by successfully recording pop, dance, rock, RnB, industrial and while she's had a flirtation with country already, this album is her first official foray into full-on country... and her pet project fits like a glove. She doesn't bring out the twang (fortunately) but this is solid, soulful, down home stuff and dammit, I actually wanted more!... Fingers crossed album #9 is the OTHER genre best-suited to her powerful, emotive pipes: ROCK!
It's Official!
Ok, it's official...Tiffany can sing A.N.Y.T.H.I,N.G.! This chick is amazing; pure country all the way. If ur a country fan, this will add to your collection nicely. I have to admit my favorite song on this release is 'Just Love me'-but I am not excluding the other gems nestled w/in the album. The depth of writing is very much compariable/reminiscent to the underrated album 'Color Of Silence'. My only 2 complaints to the album is that there are ONLY eight songs. Also the title of the album is so intriguing..what a title,"Rose tattoo" I was looking forward to a song by the same name. Maybe she has one written somewhere-who knows! If she does, I'd love to hear it. Very catchy and thought-provoking title including some incredible material.
All I can say is WOW!!
I LU LU LUVE this record!!! I can't believe I haven't heard this side to Tiffany's voice until now... She really can sing anything!! My favorite song on the record is " Feel The Music"... Just makes you wana move & sing along at the top of your lungs... WOOT!!! Go Tiffany... Love it
