Boomkat is an electronica and pop music duo, with brother-and-sister Kellin and Taryn Manning. Their debut album Boomkatalog.One was released in 2003. The first single "The Wreckoning" hit #1 on the Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart. Taryn is also an actress who has appeared on television in CSI:Miami and Boston Public, as well as the films Crazy/Beautiful, Crossroads, Hustle & Flow, and 8 Mile.
