To wake up to. Or fall asleep with. Or just enjoy while the world flies you by. Gregory Alan comes up with wonderfully haunting and poetic sounds and lyrics that are comparable to many of the better known wordsmiths of our time and produces in Rust Colored Stones a sound that both contemplates and comforts any one of us who've felt lost, love, joy, and pain. For those who enjoy music, done acoustically and as a craft, you'll not only respect where Gregory and his band are coming from, you'll want to wish you could visit them often.
