Amazing, dark, mysterious funk
A futuristic funk trip but also a throwback to both the fusion of Weather Report and a classic Terrence McKenna trip. It's both hypermodern and it's been around forever. I guess it's jazz, like early '80s Miles Davis was jazz. But it's also DJ Premier, consulting with Galt MacDermot. But it's funk. But it strays. But not like a Phish concert in a big field. But definitely like a big field of shrooms. Yet there's a dark, distorted wave of fuzz whose psychedelics suggest a less natural hallucinogenic. It's basically the Self-Evolving Mechanized Elves of the future. From the past.

Love this album - my favorite of all the extensive Mackrosoft repertoire. Very funky, very dreamy...
