Take the Rap off of it, this is pure Hip Hop.
Take the Rap off of it, this is pure Hip Hop. Supernatural is like a ice cold water on a hot summer day. Take a minute and really listen to the entire album (yeah, I'm 35 so I remember when we bought records) and if you've been listening to Hip Hop for as long as I have (since '81) you'll appreciate his style. Anyway, good CD worth buying.
Good
This Supernatural effort is pretty good. You'll find a couple gems to keep you interested for a few. Supernat comes at you on SPIT with more food for thought, less "I'm the nicest emcee", and strays far away from the fancy cars, icicles, and bi****s monotony-type flow on the air waves. He keeps the raw flow that we've come to expect while accompanied by good New York style production and some guests that we all can appreciate. If you can ever grab a hold of "Mind Tricks" off of the "Buddah Blessed It" Maxi-Single, it will be a true gift to yourself and a showcase of Supernat's raw skills.
This is real hip hop!
