First song from 2009 SY release sounds encouraging

I just read a snipet of the new SY single and it sounds really good -- kind of like Goo and earlier. Looking foward to the full CD release.

Good Start

I already preordered the vinyl and its a pretty sick deal. i would encourage others to do so as well if they really dig sy. and i agree with the reviews before mine. in this stage of sy's career i would hope they can still retain some more of that abstract experimentation as they did with their previous albums. i had no doubts but i just hate when bands loose their sense of originality and try establish too much of a "new" sound. while sy does sound a lot different than they did, say 25 years ago or so, it seems as if they still have not abandoned a lot of their creativity. this new single reminds me a lot of Goo or either a heavier Rather Ripped. with the switch to matador i'm definitely excited for what is in store on this album.

Can't wait for the Eternal

I think this is a big step up from rather ripped and sounds a bit like goo or daydream nation
