yet another dope atmosphere project

i feel with the last 2 Eps atmosphere put out they have sort of returned to their old school ways. they remind me of "Lucy Ford" and "God loves Ugly", but a 2007 version. Dope production by Ant and i love the way Slug tells those stories. It's reminds me of 1 of my boys telling me something that happened. Slugs has real special connection with his fans. Can't wait for the full length next year !!!

I've been a fan of Atmosphere for awhile and I've always had respect for Sean's rhymes since the first piece of his work I heard. Comparing his new work to his old work, there's a clear difference. "Bad Summer" was a bit shady, but Bad Fall is by far a reflection of Sean's finest. Tracks like "Makes the Sun Come Out" just proves how well Slugo can translate feelings into rhymes. His style has changed no doubt, but not for the worse. Atmosphere remains my favorite group in the underground and general hip hop scene. His upcoming LP is sure to be promising, and Bad Fall is a worthy EP to hold us off. Keep on rhyming Sean, you haven't missed a beat.

Atmosphere are a hip-hop group from Minneapolis centering around rapper Slug (aka Sean Daley). The son of a black father and a white mother who divorced when he was a teenager, Slug became entranced with hip-hop, graffiti, and breakdancing, and formed the Rhymesayers collective with two high-school friends — Siddiq Ali (Stress) and Derek Turner (Spawn).
