WOW! Real Salsa is Back!
This band is definitely cooking with the right ingredients. When I started listening to the music I couldn't believe my ears! the real New York salsa sound of the 70's being played in the 21st century, with original tunes that either bring across a message or a laugh, sometimes both. There are no re-makes, no tributes, no adaptations of other people's music. Totally original tunes, great arrangements, and voices you've never heard with sounds inspirations and impressions that come right out of any barrio's corner. Watch out for Salsa y Guaguanco, Sentencia, Hijos de Rumberos and La Lucha. That's what I'm talking about!! I think these guys will soon be a household name. IT'S A MUST HAVE!
Real Salsa
Haven't heard this sound since the 70's. The sound of pure percussion instruments. I vote best Salsa Album of the Year.
This Album is Hot
I play the conga in three bands because I love the music. I listen to hundreds of songs looking for new rythems, new sounds. These guys have great rythem and a good sound.
